Electronics Nuclear engineering</subject><description>When the population continues to increase, the activities of the population will be increase too. It makes the amount of garbage growing faster each day. Many ways that can we do to solve the garbage problem, one of that is processing the organic waste into solid fertilizer. Exactly, Organic waste treatment process are quite easy and simple but majority people are still refuse to do so because they consider the way is too difficult. From this problem we can find an effective solution to produce a solid fertilizer using organic waste crusher that can be controlled via mobile phone, so we can control the crushing tool wherever we are. Organic waste crusher is driven using AC synchronous motor that equipped with two sensors photo transistors. The first sensor serves as a protection system and the second one serves as a power saver. The sensors will send an input signal to the Microcontroller ATMega 128 then the output signal to DTMF. DTMF has a function as a remote control via mobile phone. We can control the crushing tool using DTMF system from mobile phone. When we make a voice calls and press keypad number 1 the tool will work and when we press keypad number 2, the tool will stop working. This tool uses 220 Volt AC voltages which was reduced until 12 Volts and then converted into DC voltage through an inverter.
