Electronics Nuclear engineering</subject><description>SMS data security in the feature SMS service in the mobile phone has limitations, especially in the security of the exchange of confidential information, and so we need a system that can provide security for the exchange of information on the SMS-based android. Therefore, methods are needed to secure it, one of them by using cryptography. The method used is the method vigenere chipper. While the software used in the making of this application using Eclipse. The data security by using encryption of the text SMS on application. The process of sending an automated message encrypted at the same time SMS was sent into the inbox of the recipient as ciphertext and plaintext form when read through the application.
