- The purposes of this final report is to determine the efficiency of 3 phase induction motor which used as a driver for oil pump. 3 phase induction motor efficiency is determined when the motor is operating normally. Calculation of efficiency 3 phase induction motor is done by calculating the output power and input power of the motor, then the output power compared to the power input to obtain efficiency. Data in the final report obtained through direct interviews with officers in the field, taking the measurement data as much as 6 times at different times directly, and records that exist in the company. From the calculations performed on the existing measurement data, it appears that the input power is generated at the 6-time measurements do not differ greatly in value. As well as its power output does not differ much value. While the mechanical power generated is equal to 0.0046 KW So that the efficiency of 3 phase induction motor which used as a driver for oil pump at the factory 1B PT. PupukSriwidjaja Palembang at 6 measurement time is about 73.49% - 73.55%. This can be said to be reasonable, because the efficiency losses are influenced by the losses occurring in the motor. Losses that occurs is like a core loss, mechanical loss, copper loss, and stray load loss.
