  • In the distribution of electrical energy from the power plant to the consumer frequently encountered various constraints on distribution system leading to a reduction in the quality of the energy distribution. These include the emergence of voltage drop and losses. Voltage drop arises because of the impedance along the lines and large nominal power line and the line length which then produces losses. This report explores the value of voltage drop and losses in each conductor who passing through each Distribution Substation at Beruang Feeder in Bukit Siguntang Substation PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Rivai using ETAP software 12.6.0. And it is known that the great value of voltage drop on the feeder Bear (0.5 % in the calculation; 0.35 % by ETAP) and great value of losses (the calculation is 0.17 % and 0.16 % by ETAP) is still considered good by SPLN at 5% for voltage drop and of 2.3% for losses.
