- This study aimed to evaluate the large ground resistance values contained in the power transformer in the substation TalangKelapa. Material from this experiment are contained in the grounding system of power transformer. This research was carried out by means of direct measurement and the calculation method. From the measurement results obtained an average yield of grounding resistance transformer 1 of 1,51Ω while the calculation results obtained by 1,59Ω, transformers 2 the results obtained by averaging measurements 0,78Ω while the calculation results obtained by 0,82Ω, for transformer 3 obtained an average yield measurements of 0,44Ω while the calculation results obtained by 0,70Ω. From research conducted results obtained refers to the standard IEEE Std 80-2000. Where the earth resistivity values on the power transformer 1 does not meet the standards by which the applicable standards of <1Ω so that the necessary repairs and regular maintenance for transformer 1, while for transformers 2 and 3 meet the standard.
