Electronics Nuclear engineering</subject><description>In power systems,the frequency serves as an indicator of the balance between the total power generated with the power load. So, the frequency relay needed to detect frequencies value at the allowed frequency value. The final report was to understand working system the frequency relay, relay setting calculation frequency, knowing the great changes in the frequency and time when the working frequency relay. When normal operation , the frequency relay is in standby mode . If the monitored the frequency value is greater or less than the setting , the alarm relay will be activated and turn signal lights on the switch gear and sync bus. And the value of frequency interference will be sent to the breaker. Breaker will do load shedding. The calculations show setting rele frequency down is 47.5 Hz. Setting Rele frequency rises is 52.5 Hz. The frequency change at the highest value is -7.67 Hz/s with the frequency values when load shedding is 45.39 Hz of bellow value with setting. The frequency change at the lowest score is -4.12 Hz/s with the frequency values when load shedding is 47.52 Hz of equal value with setting.
