- Citra Damai 2 is an area of increasing population growth. The population increase resulted in flooding due to the pervasive green land where water has begun to decrease, water discharge planning and channel dimensions that can be channeled into retention ponds. The methodology used is secondary data collection. Of rainfall data obtained from BMKG Class I Kenten can be used to calculate design rainfall with Gumbel method. From the results of the analysis obtained Rainfall intensity calculation using Mononobe method that is equal to 365.6297 mm / hour. In order for the retention pond can hold excess water from the channel then the required volume of 51735.851 m3 catchment plan with budget plans Rp. 2,850,029,000.00 construction time 153 days (25 weeks 3 days). Based on the calculation of planning drainage and retention ponds are planned in Perumahan Citra Damai 2 Village Hill Sangkal District of Kalidoni Palembang to catch excess water nari discharge runoff rainwater and household wastewater and gained volume retention pond that can accommodate discharge into the pond retention.
