- This study is a case study conducted in a engaged in banking in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the principles of corporate governance (GCG) on the implementation at Bank UOB Indonesia Branch Palembang of practice undertaken by the company. Data collection methods used in this study are questionnaires and interviews . The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive methods. In the application of good corporate governance principles are good to do that; transparancy, accountability, responsibility, fairness, and independence. This study was made with the belief that with the implementation of good corporate governance in a company, the company can increase the value of the company (corporate value), increase competitiveness, and to foster customer confidence. The test results showed that the finance department staff as well as staff committee and employees of Good Corporate Governance in Bank UOB Indonesia Palembang Branch has implemented good corporate governance. And in accordance with good corporate governance principles, namely; Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Fairness, and Independence. Additionally these results show the motivation of the company is to implement the principles of good corporate governance as a whole, to meet the expectations of stakeholders, and get legitimacy
