- ASYAUQI PUTRA IZZATI ELECTRO DEPARTMENT ELECTRICAL STUDY PROGRAM STATE POLYTECHNIC OF SRIWIJAYA Channeling the power distribution from the sending side to the receiving side (consumers) are influenced by the type of material and the dimensions of the channel and the amount of power to the load. Type material and dimensions of the channel produces a known channel parameters channel resistance, while the load power line flows. Channel resistance and the current channel will result in power loss. When the electrical power distribution system is already contained many channels the power losses in the power distribution efficiency of the distribution network is not 100% pure channeled. This final report aims to investigate the magnitude of the power loss distribution channels and distribution efficiency at the primary distribution system. Method of calculation is done through a case study on the primary electrical power distribution system at 20 kV Substation Mariana PT. PLN (Persero). The results of the manual calculation showed the highest channel power losses amounted to 357.7 kW and an efficiency of 86% and the results of calculations using the software Etap showed the highest channel power loss of 200 kW and an efficiency of 92% Keywords: loss of electrical power, power efficiency and distribution system
