- The imbalance of the load on an electrical power distribution system always occur and the cause of the imbalance is not spreading the burden of the load on the network customer low voltage. The research done on the transformator unbalanced distribution in PT PLN (Persero) Palembang rayon Kayuagung area. This research is a descriptive with retrieve data directly on the transformator PE.0163 distribution using the appliance DTMS (Distribution Transformator Management System) on Monday, 16 May 2016 at 08.01 WIB - 23.02 WIB. Using the calculation formula of the imbalance of the burden and power compensation and obtained the results of load ketidakseimbagan ranges from 19% - 32.6% and compensation ranges from 4.02power kW - 14,91kW. It can be concluded that more neutral current arising in the channel neutral due to the imbalance of the burden and the greater power compensation produced. To reduce the power loss load balancing needs to be done on each phasa.
