- From analisys of data, value of efficiency percentage and losses that generated in transformer 80 MVA Steam Electric Power Plant Unit 1 at PT. PLN (Persero) Bukit Asam Power Plant Sector. To know value of efficiency and losses of transformer 80 MVA PLTU Bukit Asam got from manual calculation. The calculation by manual is did with collect the data like input power and current of load used in transformer. In manual calculation, output power in highest load is 57.098 KW, in average load is 50.954 and in smallest load is 38.893. The smallest total losses when the smallest load is 107,28 KW and the biggest losses total when the biggest load is 202,44 KW. The biggest efficiency in transformer PLTU Bukit Asam is got from when the smallest load is 99,71 %, and the smallest efficiency is got the biggest load is 99,64 %. Efficiency and losses is very affected by power and current of load used. The bigger power and current so the bigger losses of transformer and the smaller efficiency of transformer.
