- Evaluation of Induction Machine 3 ΦPower Necessityto Belt Conveyor 5853V PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (Evi Jayanti, 2014 : 40 pages) This study inventigates the power necessity of induction mechine three phases to belt conveyor and calculation of power from a machine to belt conveyor 5853V PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. The writer found that the damage of induction machine three phases to belt conveyor 5853V. the writer wanted to know about the causes of the damage of the induction machine three phases at belt conveyor. The data were collected though observation, library research, and interviews from the employees of operator at PPU departement PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja. The data were also analyzed by using theoretical review taken from ” Motor Listrik Arus Bolak Balik” by Sumanto (1993) anda ”Dasar-dasar Mesin Listrik” by Mochtar Wijaya (2001). This study reveals the electrical machine. Based on the findings, the writer concludes that high power of machine installation cannot be suitable with the capacity of conveyor burden. The writer suggest that machine installed to belt conveyor should be changed with machine from this project.
