TANJUNG ENIM LESTARI PULP AND PAPER</title><creator>KHOTIMAH, KHUSNUL</creator><subject>TP Chemical technology</subject><description>Energy audit is an evaluation process energy utilization and energy savings opportunity identification and recommendation on the energy efficiency improvements in order to conserve energy. Energy audit consists of three parts, walk through, preliminary audit and detailed audit. The scope of the research as an object in the case study is ClO2 plant area, a unit producing product used to brighten pulp of bleaching sectio. This unit consumes electrical energy and thermal energy, such as LP-Steam and MP-Steam. In the implementation of this case study: the data collected in the form of historical data, primary and secondary, as well as direct measurement to identify energy saving opportunities. The result of the identification of energy saving opportunities found in the improvement of the pipeline without isolation (PPE 1), without valve isolation (PPE 2), steam condensate recovery (PPE 3) as well as cell coating (PPE 4). LP-steam consumption decreased by 0,2563 ton/adt post audit, PPE 2 0,1214 ton/adt, PPE 3 amounted to 0,2941 ton/adt. MP-steam PPE 1 amounted 0,1082 ton/adt post audit, PPE 2 amounted 0,1214 ton/adt.
