  • This research aims to expose the role of the CIP (continuous improvement program) in improving work productivity of employees at PT Pertamina (persero) MOR II Palembang. The population of the research were 15 employees who were the participants of the forum presentation CIP from 4 sections. and the techniques used for choosing the sample was percentage technique with guttman scale. The technique of data collection is obtained by intererviewing the managers and the dissemination of the questionnaire. From the answers of the respondents showed increasing employee productivity with the CIP, and value creation created increased by 4.9 billion. Value creation in 2014 1.1 billion by 2015 and increase to 6 billion. Increasing productivity is meant i.e. employees can give creative ideas and innovative in solving problems, and creating new tools that can help. With the CIP is not only the companies that benefited but their employees also feel happy and comfortable. Because the ideas that they give are accepted and appreciated by the company. The award is given in the form of a certificate, and if the win will be given money. But the main task of the working time of the employees of machining process with tools that made exceed the working time in General. Employees who follow the CIP will get a reward as an appreciation of the company.
