- In generator voltage regulator system, excitation is the most important thing in managing stabilitation of plant because if load fluctuation occured, so excitation as managing such as voltage, current and power factor. Brushless excitation in generator coming from alternating current which is direction by using rotating rectifier so it will produce direct current which is direction to magnet poles in stator main exciter, it is also manage by automatic voltage regulator. Direct current which produce by rectifier is also using as power direct current supply to excitation bunch in the main generator as voltage which is plant also by generator. From analysis of excitation system in the turbin generator quantity 118,2 Vdc, produce voltage 7044 Vac in the no load condition. By giving load in quantity 2772 KW, so the voltage will be 6815 Vac. This is showing that the voltage of excitation is influence the stabilitation of gas turbin generator. As much as using the load so the voltage which is plant will be so small. So must be able to do excitation using excitation system.
