Electronics Nuclear engineering</subject><description>Fruit sorter tool based ATMega 32 of microcontroller is designed to sort the pieces by color and size. One of the sensors used are ultrasonic sensors. Ultrasonic sensor is a sensor that works on the principle of reflection of sound waves and is used to detect the presence of a particular object in front of him. In this type of tool HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor is used to detect the presence of fruit in the sorting process. An ultrasonic sensor distance ranges between 2 cm - 400 cm with long a pulse output proportional to the object. Each ultrasonic sensor detects the distance to objects with the speed of light intensity sensor 344 m / s, so that would be obtained travel time. The farther the distance sensor to the object (fruit), then the longer the travel time of the ultrasonic waves. Retrieved on red fruit at a distance of 3.3 cm wave propagation time change to the distance sensor that is for 180 &#x3BC;s, at a distance of 4.4 cm wave propagation time change to the distance sensor that is over 235 &#x3BC;s and at a distance of 5.1 cm change in travel time wave to the distance sensor that is over 280 &#x3BC;s. The farther the distance sensor to the object (fruit) then the frequency will decrease.
