- This report purposed to investigate the depreciation and removal of records implementation in the Business Administration Department Sriwijaya State Polytechnic using 2005 Permendiknas Number 26¬¬th about the retention schedule for college records. Department of Business Administration at Srijaya Negara street, Bukit Besar, Palembang. The authors used a triangulation technique, i.e. observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive technique, the author was informed that the implementation of the records depreciation and removal of using Permendiknas still not going well. It is known from the results of interviews and a check-list, which administrators still do not know about this guideline. This means that depreciation and removal of records in the Department of Business Administration have not been going well and Permendiknas Number 26th 2006.
