  • The title of this final report is “The Role of secretary to support the General Manager duties at PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Office Palembang” This final Report aims to determine the role of secretary in arranging schedule activities the General Manager and receiving telephone messages from guest or relations. As a source of data writing of the final report was interview conducted author to secretary from PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Office Palembang, observation and literature reference. Based on data obtained there are two obstacles secretary duties, secretary make a schedule General Manager’s activities in Agenda Book whom small size such a expedition book so that can pile up with other documents and receiving telephone messages, secretary didn’t use telephone messages form but only a small piece of paper to record then pasted to computer so that can make the piece of paper can lost. Author try to give suggestion as follows: The best way except make a General Manager’s activities at agenda book PLMDM GA, secretary should record in white board whom hanging close with secretary’s table and recording telephone messages, as a best way secretary uses form or special card to receiving telephone record.
