  • The purpose of this final report is to find out the result of employees performance appraisal in accordance with the expectations of the employees, to determine the elements of assessment and to determine the employee's perception of the performance appraisal at the Regional Office of Directorate General of Customs and Excise Southern Sumatra. To achieve these objectives, the research method used is by submitting questionnaires and interviews to the Head of General and some office employees. In terms of employee perceptions, performance appraisal is still constrained to less stable online system in the Regional Office of Directorate General of Customs and Excise of Southern Sumatra in order to obstruct the process and the results of performance appraisal that has been done by the employees. While the results of performance appraisal, employees can still be understandable with satisfactory results for employees. Advice from the author on employee perceptions in performance appraisal, an online system for employee performance appraisals should be required repairs and improving the quality of the overall system in order to launch the process of performance appraisal. In addition, the increase in the objectivity of ratings employees are also needed in order to develop a sense of justice for all those offices. While the results of performance appraisal, in order to minimize disruption and it is necessary to repair the computerized system of performance appraisal of the first so that the performance appraisal will be done employees can run optimally and not constrained error or interference that can cause errors on employees who assess and rated achievements it works.
