  • This study aimed to determine the effect of Liquidity (Cash Ratio) and Loan to Deposit Ratio partially and simultaneously on profitability (ROA) of the banking sector sub company listed on the Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. The data used in this study that the financial statements and annual reports of banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange of 2010-2014 published through the website www.idx.co.id. The research sample of 10 companies. The analytical method used is quantitative methods, descriptive statistics test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient determination, and hypothesis testing. The independent variable used is the Cash Ratio and Loan to Deposit Ratio, while the dependent variable of research is Return on Assets. The result of this research is the Loan to Deposit Ratio partially positive and significant impact on Return on Assets. Cash Ratio partially positive and not significant to the Return on Assets. Simultaneously Cash Ratio and Loan to Deposit Ratio positive and significant effect on Return on Assets. This indicates that the Cash Ratio and Loan to Deposit Ratio indicators are an important influence on the determination of Return on Assets.
