- This report investigates the importance of performance appraisal of employees at RSIA RIka Amelia. RSIA Rika Amelia is one of hospital in Palembang. The writer found that the hospital has some problems in applying performance appraisal because they have nospecific criteria and form. That condition cause the employees do not know the result from the performance appraisal. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and library research. They were analyzed by framework theory developed byHandoko (2001), Hasibuan (2000), Rivai (2009), Sastrohadiwiryo (2003), Siagian (2012). The results shows that the performance appraisal is not runs well. The writer suggests that the company should make some specific criteria and form related to the performance appraisal, and the leader preferably is give information to employees about the result from performance appraisal
