  • The purpose of this research was to determine the implementation of punishment given to the employees of Usaha Pempek “Mang Din” Palembang. The kinds of violation that usually done was late arrival, absence, and the habit of leaving the work location without any permit. The aim of the company in applying the punishment system is to make the employees become discipline gradually. This punishment system divided into three levels, such as light punishment, normal punishment, and heavy punishment category. It implemented to make the employess decrease their violation action. The result of this research shows that the violation happened frequently. The applied punishment should be appropriate to the violation kind done by the employees. The conclusion of this research was the implementation of punishment system in this company is hasn’t firmly yet in.
