- (Yiyin Rania, 2015:35 pages, 13 pictures, 3 tables) This report is about the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of Ranau Lake as a tourism object in South Sumatera. The aim of this final report is to know the strengths and the weaknesses of Ranau Lake as a tourism object. The research method was qualitative research, while the data were collected through interview, and observation. The writer analyzed this report by using some theories from experts related to the tourism. The result shows that there were some strengths supported Ranau Lake as a tourism object, such as the existence of what to do, what to see, what to buy, what to arrive and what to stay. But there were some weaknesses which should be fixed by Local Government, such as broken public toilets, old gazebo, damaged roads and unavailable atm center in Banding Agung Sub-District. All of the weaknesses at Ranau Lake must be overcomed by Local Government to make Ranau Lake be a tourism object in South Sumatra
