- Determination Application Majors field of study in high school purpose to facilitate the process of determining majors using predetermined criteria due to majors take a long time with a number of students who ± 300 people. Methodology The research conducted by the author, among others, interviews, direct observation and literature. On the basis of these problems, then the determination of the application built majors fields of study in high school with Naive Bayes methods. Bayes Theorem is one way to cope with uncertainty data using Bayes formula. This application is built by using Visual Basic 2012 programming language and MySQL database. Model development system in this application is the RUP (Rational Unified Process) model starting from the inception, elaboration, construction and transition. This application manages student data, recommendations student achievement data, the data value of students (UN and report), the data selection, and data results of a psychological test as well as assisting in making a report on the majors.
