now there is no the utilization in a big number against young coconut husk waste. Young
coconut husk has cellulose content high enough. In the preliminary study against raw
material young coconut husk containing 43,44 % cellulose and 45,84% lignin. So young
coconut husk can be used as the raw material of pulp.The purpose of this research is studied
the influence of concentration of solutions and comparison of raw material with a solutions
using process acetosolv. In this research is made of a pulp from young coconut husk with
process acetosolv using acetic acid as a solutions. Pulp young coconut husk that has been
made then conducted an analysis of the quality of the pulp, namely rendemen, lignin and
cellulose.Of the research which has been be made getting 27%-39% lignin and 49%-79%
cellulose, known that the quality of the pulp of which made of young coconut husk with
process acetosolv almost have the standard of the quality of the pulp
