- Red rose flowers is one of handicraft that found by community. If the flowers kept as long day, it will be dying and ignore it. Meanwhile unfresh flowers are still contain anthocyanin pigment. Usage of the flowers will do by giving an extract it can procedured of extract that could using as corrosion inhibitor that more natural and environment friendly. The purpose of these research is to get extract of red rose flowers that has anthocyanin pigment and applied it as corrosion inhibitor that able to endure corosin in the iron to chloric acid. The method that used is weight loss method with inhibitor consentration variation (5000 ppm, 10000 ppm, 15000 ppm, 20000 ppm, and 25000 ppm) and long term (2 days, 4 days, 6 days, 8 days, and 10 days). The result of research show that extract of red rose flowers was able to endured corrosion with highest inhibitor as 67,70% on 25000 ppm on the 2nd days and the lowest of inhibitor eficiency as 35,10% on 5000 ppm on the 10th days.
