- Palm fruit empty bunches (PFEB) was the waste has not been utilized optimally. Content PFEB having lignosesulosa high enough that is about 86% (Azemi dkk., 1994). The content of lignin in PFEB, the structure should be removed. In this study, the method used to degrade lignin is pretreatment with bleaching continued with a an enzymatic the hydrolysis of using an α-amilase enzymes and analyzed the use of a HPLC. The results showed that glucose levels highest resulting worth 0,3706 gr/L while the solution of bleach H2O2 and Al2(SO4)3 produces glucose worth 0,351 gr/L and 0,3617 gr/L with concentration of solutions 3 %.
