- Palm Oil Mill Effluent is liquid waste from palm oil industries. This waste treatment can be done using activated carbon as adsorbent. This research purposing to have efficiency of activated carbon mixed from coconut shell, zeolite and palm charcoal to decrease BOD, COD, TSS and ph value. The process is done by making activated carbon with carbonization method in 5000C for 2 hours which separated into two section which is 60 mesh and 200 mesh and activation process using ZnCl2 with consentration variation 5%;10%;15%;20%;25% for 48 hours then adsorption process in waste treatment instrument. In that process is gain optimum particle size and consentration that is 200 mesh with consentration 20% that make the decrease of BOD that is 112 mg/L, COD 66,17 mg/L, TSS 11,92 mg/L and pH 7,6.
