Durian seeds have a high carbohydrates&#xD; containt. Therefore, Durian seeds can be use as the material to make a&#xD; biodegradable plastic. Raw material of biodegradable plastic is starch of Durian&#xD; Seed Flour. The purpose of this exsperiment is to know the effect of adding&#xD; tapioca flour to production optimum condition of biodegradable plastic. other&#xD; materials which use in this experiment are plasticizer is sorbitol and aquadest. The&#xD; addition composition of tapioca flour are 1gr, 2gr, 3gr, 4gr dan 5gr from weight of&#xD; durian seeds flour is 5 gram. The result of this experiment is thin sheet of&#xD; biodegradable plastic that have been tested mechanical properties.
