This increase is&#xD; not also accompanied by the production of fossil fuels. The way that can we can&#xD; do to overcome this problem is utilize renewable energy such as Biopellets of&#xD; sawdust that is supported by drying technology in the treatment process. The&#xD; drying process is a very important step to produce biomass fuel with good&#xD; quality, drying is intended to reduce the water content containing in the biomass&#xD; feedstock and to improve the calorific value. The purpose of this study is to make&#xD; a prototype of unit biomass dryer with rotary system and produce a dry product&#xD; for biopellets. This research was conducted by designing the structure of the tools&#xD; that will be created and analyzed the thermal system with the variation of drying&#xD; time (30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes) at a constant temperature of 60 0C.&#xD; The results showed that drying with the longest time, the decrease of the moisture&#xD; content in the wood dust will be even greater.
