- This final report aims to design and make the application of a multilevel building vibration detection system via SMS using the accelerometer sensor. Basically this vibration detection system works when the accelerometer sensor that is placed in multistory buildings can identify activity that occurs around a predetermined rise buildings. Accelerometer sensor will deliver information that occurs in multistorey buildings only when the initial input in the form of vibration in multi-storey buildings can be captured as a sensor signal to be sent to the microcontroller in order to give the command to the modem which will forward the information via SMS to the information center. The amount of vibration will be obtained after receiving vibration sensor for 10 seconds, when the vibration received exceeds the safety limit vibration in multilevel buildings then microcontroller ATMEGA 8535 that has been in the program via BASCOM-AVR to send messages (SMS) via modem wavecom to the telephone cellular receiver and buzzer are installed participate actively.
