- The final report entitled “The Analysis Of Distance Relay Reliability As A Main Protection On High Voltage 70 kV At Boom Baru – Seduduk Putih Substation”. The purpose of this final report are knowing the procedure of distance relay, the setting calculation of distance relay dan determine whether the distance relays at Boom Baru substations is reliable or not. The data collection method are used observation and interviews. Data obtained from Transmission Service Unit (UPT) PT. PLN (Persero) Palembang and Boom Baru substations. The procedure of distance relay is the relay will trip when the value of impedance due to the interference is smaller than the impedance setting of distance relays at Boom Baru substations. Setting value obtained from calculation is zone 1 of 0.15 ∠ 55.7 ° with time of 0 seconds, zone 2 at 0.2232 ∠ 55.7 ° with time of 0.4
