  • Electrical interference that occur in the system that can resulted in disruption the distribution of electricity to the customers can be temporary or permanent disturbance. In overcoming the interference, PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Sukarami has difficulties in knowing the location where the interference derived. So that the officer should be looking at the entire distribution network to determine the location of the cause of interference derived. According to that, in this final report, will be discussed the solution in determining the location of disturbance in a feeder at PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Sukarami. This report has the aim to determine the magnitude of short circuit current on Nakula feeder, to find the solution in finding the location of the short circuit interference, in addition to know how to create and run an application that can detect the location of a short circuit fault on Nakula feeder in PT PLN (Persero ) Rayon Sukarami. Based on the calculations used, it was found that the largest fault current at 3-phase fault, in the substation with the closest distance to the source, which is equal to 4927.37 A. For the smallest fault current occurs in one phase-ground fault, which occurred at the very end of Nakula feeder is 229.21 A. Based on the analysis by the writer, the value of the fault current at the closest distance to the source will be even greater, otherwise the value of the fault current at the farthest distance to the source will be smaller. Therefore, it can be used an application for detect the short circuit fault location, with the principle used to sort the values of short circuit current fault with the distance of distribution substation from the nearest to the farthest from the source.
