With DOL Starter method on three-phase motors, the starting current that goes into the motor of 1404 A, the reason the use of Direct On Line starting as a function of the motor slurry pumps which require large starting torque. The voltage drop when the motor is turned on (starting) is not a problem because it does not cross the line under-voltage allowable tolerance.
