- The use of an electric motor as the driving very wide utilization in the industrial world. Three phase induction motor as the driving force in the industry selected for three-phase induction motor construction more simple and constant with the change in load. One is the use of an electric motor as the driving engine of the pump. Determination of the capacity of the three-phase induction motor as the driving engine is done through computation power pump water or water horse power and efficiency of the resulting slurry pumps FC motors PM-4A. The calculations were carried out through a case study in PT. Pertamina (Persero) RU III Plaju, produce water horse power of 77.5 kW and 79.91 kW input power sebesarn and losses generated power of 1.03 kW.
