  • This final report is about "Losses On Transmission Lines" so that the discussion of this issue will be known voltage loss can lead to loss of power on the transmission line so that we can know the limits that have been set, so that the voltage at the receive end can still be used effectively. The factors that cause the voltage loss and power loss are line constants, namely the resistance, inductive reactance, and capacitive reactance. In the middle and upper transmission line capacitive reactance value should not be ignored. In addition to the line constants, other factors that cause power loss is resistivity conductor, broad conductor, line length and the amount of current flowing in the transmission line. Based on research, the authors conclude that if in the distribution of electrical power in the transmission system there are power losses and voltage losses, then the automatic distribution of electrical energy will be reduced, so a great big power or voltage received will not be the same as the big power or voltage supplied. Keywords : Losses transmission, transmission lines, transmission line constants.
