- Jalan Desa Cempaka – Muara Kuang is a road that connects subdistrict Cempaka and Muara Kuang. This street have the important things to improve the grew of economy in around of the village, also to increase people life in all of the parts. In writing this final report, the authors wanted to know how good planning in planning and geometric design of pavement thickness on a new road DesaCempaka – MuaraKuang STA 05+000 – 10+000, so the path to be traversed can provide a sense of security, convenient, and economical for the community. In the planning of geometric design street, the guidance there are the calculation alinyemen horizontal, alinyemen vertical, classify of street, and what the harden was used. Based on the calculation above, found that Desa Cempaka – Muara Kuang was in the classify II A with the planning speed 70 km / h, there are 2 band 2 coloumn where the width of street 2x3,5 m and the width of street shoulder. In this street was use 5 curve with thick harden. Road surface layer using worn asphalt concrete by thick layer of 4 cm, asphalt concrete between with thick layer of 6 cm, and foundation asphalt concrete with thick layer of 11 cm.For the base layer used to aggregate class A with a thick layer of 15 cm, while the subbase layer is used to aggregate class B with a thick layer of 20 cm. Construction of roads is carried out within 115 days for a total cost of Rp.43.180.000.000,-.
