Civil engineering (General)</subject><description>Tugu Nanas – Simpang Meo is a road that connects Tugu Nanas Prabumulih and Simpang Meo. This road was built as a support in the improvement of the activity of the economy and the livelihood of communities around that area. In the writing of this final report, the author would like to know how to plan the good design of geometric on Tugu Nanas – Simpang Meo road, thus giving a sense of safe, comfortable and economical for all the road users. Geometric design of the road planning becomes the reference in geometric planning including the calculation of horizontal, vertical alignment, as well as setting the roughness of what will be used on the road. From the results of various calculations above, Tugu Nanas - Simpang Meo road is on class II B with road speed road plan that is 60 km/h, and used 5 road corners. This road is using flexible pavement with the surface layer Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) with 4 cm thick, Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) with 6 cm thick, Asphalt Concrete Base (AC-Base) with 8 cm thick, while the foundation layer over using Aggregate class A with a thickness of 15 cm and the bottom foundation layer using an Aggregate class B with a thickness of 15 cm. This road construction was carried out within 152 days with total budget Rp 49.133.093.000,00
