- This report is about the study on Kampung Kapitan as one of the tourism destinations in Palembang. The purpose of this final report is to find out whether Kampung Kapitan has been classified as one as the cultural tourism destinations in Palembang. The data were collected by using observation and interviews, and were analyzed descriptively by using Spillane’s theory. Based on the findings, the writer found that Kampung Kapitan had fulfilled the elements of tourism destinations, but the elements were not complete yet. The incomplete elements were daily man-made attractions, good facilities and infrastructure, and cleanliness. The writer suggests that the local citizen of Kampung Kapitan and government should cooperate to make the incomplete tourism destinations elements and preserve them.
