Civil engineering (General)</subject><description>Development of education is rapidly increasing, making a significant growth&#xD; of the amount of students each year. Sriwijaya University as one of the many&#xD; University of favorities to continue their education, every year the number of students&#xD; also increased. This makes the number of classes by students are not sufficient, so it&#xD; is planned to add a new college building that can accommodate the increase in the&#xD; number of students. In the whole building is part of the building using reinforced&#xD; concrete structures and the use of foundation footprints as the structure of the bottom&#xD; of the building. The structure is based on SNI-03-1729-2002 as a theoretical basis,&#xD; we also use several other books such as Reinforced Concrete Structures Istimawan&#xD; essay, written by Gideon Table Reinforced Concrete, and bouquet Zainal&#xD; Foundation. From the results of the planning for Building Lecture 3 floors which we&#xD; plan to use the dimensions of the column 40x40 cm&#xB2; with daimeter reinforcement 22&#xD; mm, dimension beams 20x40 cm&#xB2;, 25x45 cm&#xB2;, 30x60 cm&#xB2; with diamater reinforcement&#xD; 16 mm, thickness of plates 10 cm in diamater reinforcement of 10 mm, and the depth&#xD; of foundation 2,15 meters. Based on the calculations can be concluded that this&#xD; structur is stable and safe.
