- Channel Planning and Retention Pool Sangkuriang District Sako of Sako Palembang City Subdistrict Sako is a residential area which is increase from year-to-year, because the increase, the frequent flooding problems for the people. The purpose of the writers wants to plan water debit and channel dimensions were entered into the retention pool. The methodology used is to collect secondary data. From the results of these calculations related to calculate the water debit which would then be used to analyze the Gumbel. From the results of the analysis obtained is by the calculation of with the Rainfall intensity projection with method Mononobe at 4,5797 m3/s. In addition to the retention pool can hold water, it takes volume of 82403,847 m3 reservoir plan with the budget plan of Rp. 2.635.248.000,00 with processing time 245 days. Based on the results the writers concluded that the planning of drainage area is planned in the District Sako of Sako Palembang, can accommodate runoff discharge and discharge home.
