District of Ilir Barat II Palembang
Sub-District 32 Ilir is a residential area and regional trade continues to
increase from year to year, but common obstacle for those customers where the
existing water supply is less well served. The aim of the author is to know how
much water should discharge flowing in the region.
Data were collected from PDAM Tirta Musi, the Central Bureau of
Statistics, Office 32 Ilir village and office Ilir Barat II in Palembang as well as
within the local communities. The author uses primary and secondary data in
planning. Primary data were taken through observation and interviews. Secondary
data were analyzed by using the theoretical framework developed from several
books.
The data used to calculate the population of population projections for the
next 20 years, from the results of these calculations relate to calculate the required
amount of water, which is then either used for analyzing pipelines with Hardy
Cross method. In the calculation of water requirements, water flow that will come
flowing in the region sub-district 32 Ilir district of Ilir Barat II Palembang for 20
years (2014-2034) with a discharge of 112,266 liters / sec.
