  • ABSTRAK GEOMETRIC AND THICKNESS OF PAVEMENT DESIGN RUAS JALAN PENINGGALAN – BATAS JAMBI PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN STA 16+100 – STA 22+400 This is the final project design of geometric and flexible pavement Peninggalan –Batas Jambi. The project is located on the East Trans-Sumatera National road which is located in South Sumatera Province. Writers made this road as a media for acknowledging and understanding how to design geometric and thickness of pavement road, so that we can get the safe, comfortable, economical and efficient road for all road users. In designing the geometric and thickness of pavement road, the main basic references are road class, road field, horizontal alignment, vertical alignment and the determining thickness of the road which will be made. According to the result of analysis and calculating, this road is implied in Artery Class I with flat level field. It has 8 bends which are Full Circle bend(FC), Spiral-Spiral bend (SS), and Spiral-Circle-Spiral bend (SCS). Surface layeruses Laston ACWC with 3,0558 inch or 8 centimeters thickness and Laston ACBase with 8,74 inch or 23 centimeters thickness, Class A aggregate with 5,278 inch or 15 centimeters thickness as the top of foundation, base foundation use Class B aggregate with 11,90 inch or 30 centimeters of thickness as the This project takes 160 days and 17.675.523.000,00 rupiahs.
