- Background : Diarhea is one of the major diseases of baby in Indonesia now and third rank of the causes babies death. One of causes is the mother’s habbit in giving formula milk incorrectly. It is caused of formula milk is good media for growth of bacteria, so that easy to be contaminated especially is the mother’s habbit in giving the formula milk incorrectly and it can cause the dearhea in baby. Method : This research is analytic survey by using cross sectional apporachment. Samples are the babies of the age 0-24 months who are the youngest child in their family and given formula milk in work area of Puskesmas Balai Agung Sekayu by using purposive sampling. Result : The research result show that persentase of diarhea of the age 0-24 months is 52,9%. Statistically, the result of the research area, the using of the water to make the milk thiner, the way of how to clean the milk bottle, the habbit of cleaning the hands before making the milk thiner and kind of the milk have correlation with the case of diarhea in baby. Conclusion : The conclussion of the research is there is the correlation between the using of the water to make the milk thinner, the way of how to clean the milk bottle, the habbit of claening the hands before making the milk thinner and kind of the milk with the case of diarhea in baby of the age 0-24 months.
