  • In this thesis, explained an holdness of a theorem in real number space. The theorem states that a sequence with certain iteration scheme weakly converges to a fixed point of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex Banach space which satisfies Opial`s condition. To prove the holdness of the theorem, it will be proven that the assumptions of the theorem are satisfied by real number space. The result is the theorem which is fixed point theorem for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings applies in real number space.
