  • State owned enterprises were aimed to increase welfare of society. Meanwhile, Indonesian government is still striving to pay off foreign debt that caused by 1997 economic crisis. One of the efforts was by doing shares public offering of state owned enterprises to be listed. Financial statement analysis is one way to determine the financial performance of company by analyzing financial statements which can be done by comparing the current period financial statements with the previous period, but it can also be done by comparing the competitors. This research was conducted on fifteen non-financial state owned enterprises in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2015 period. This study was aimed to analyze the financial performance of the companies of State Owned Enterprises using financial trend analysis, time series analysis, cross section analysis, common size income statement, compound annual growth rate, DuPont analysis, and KPKU rank. Almost all ratios of the companies decreased from year to year during the period of 2013-2015. But overall, the financial performances of companies based on analysis of financial trends and DuPont analysis were quite good although there were some companies that suffered losses.In the results of a comparison of each company for each sub-sector, PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk; PT. Semen Indonesia, Tbk; PT. Kimia Farma, Tbk; PT. Wijaya Karya, Tbk and PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk had the highest performances in each sub sector. Based on KPKU score, PT. Semen Indonesia, Tbk; PT. Jasa Marga, Tbk; PT. Aneka Tambang, Tbk; PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk; PT. Krakatau Steel, Tbk; PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk; PT. Pembangunan Perumahan, Tbk; PT. Waskita Karya, Tbk; PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk; PT. Timah, Tbk; PT. Adhi Karya, Tbk; PT. Kimia Farma, Tbk and PT. Indofarma, Tbk are sorted from the biggest to the smallest KPKU score respectively. While PT. Wijaya Karya, Tbk and PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk were not stated their KPKU scores.
