While in Indonesia, air pollution can be one of the environmental indicators that is intriguing to be investigated. Using Probit Model and simulation, this research examines the changes in individual probabilities to feel unhappy if the air pollutant concentration increases. The data used in this research are IFLS 5 and air pollution data from Statistic of Ministry of Environment and Forestry Indonesia 2015. The results show that the increased on suphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), hydro carbon (HC) and particulate matter (PM10) concentration has negative effect on health significantly and could raise the individual probabilities to be unhappy indirectly. SO2 has the biggest impact on the increase of individual probabilities to feel unhappy rather than other kind of air pollutant, which is by 3,2%. Keywords: air pollution, unhappiness, IFLS, simulation
