- The research area is geographically located at the coordinates 4006`18"LU, 117045`39"BT and 4001`55"LU, 117055`05" BT. The geology of this area is part of Tidung subbasin comprising Sajau Formation and Tabul Formation. The research was conducted by lithofacies description field which then makes Composite Log trending northeast - southwest. Composite logs that have been created concluded that there are three facies associations: Distributary channel, Mouth bar, and Channel. Of the depositional environment is inferred precipitation takes place from the northwest - southeast by calculating correction paleocurrent of cross-bedding. In addition, the data show that the sandstone sajau and tabul formations petrographic derived from recycled orogen area. And the area closest to the recycled orogen is Orogen Sarawak. Located is on the Northeast area of research.
