The aim of this study is to acknowledge how far the relationship between the uses of Kementerian Ristek’s website with Kementerian Ristek employee’s gratification information needs. This study is using the correlational method with 72 participants which are the employees of Kementerian Ristek, using stratified sampling technique. The data obtained then tested and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis of Rank Spearman Order Correlation, which is used to account ordinal scale. the test results indicated that there is a strong correlation between the uses of Kementerian Ristek’s website with Kementerian Ristek employee’s gratification information needs. The results showed that the use of media website www.ristek.go.id consisting of amounts of time, types of media content, and relations between the individual and the media content links to satisfying the information needs of employees Kementerian Ristek. The conclusion of this study is that there is a strong correlation between the uses of Kementerian Ristek’s website through the of amounts of time, types of media content, and relations between the individual and the media content with gratification of Kementerian Ristek employee’s information needs through gratification of diversion, personal relationship, personal identity, and surveillance. The advice from this study is the messages contained in Kementerian Ristek’s website is expected to be more fitted, like the information about SiNas program and P3 Iptek program so that employees will understand the distribution of the activities of the main program and informing a message about the results of the activities of Kementerian Ristek in order to create synergy program of the Kementerian Ristek.
