- This research is entitled Effectiveness of Distribution of Raskin, Food defense, in Rancamaya, south Bogor, Bogor City. The idea of this research is an uneffectiveness of distribution of Raskin in Bogor. Data of needy received from BKKBN; Raskin stil not achieved yet by all poor household. So the ain of this research is to analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of the distribution of Raskin in Rancamaya, South Bogor, Bogor. This research use descriptive method with qualitative approach. The main tool to collecting data in this research is interview. Researcher interviewing twelve informant who have competence in the management of government. The result shows that limited time during the planning phase caused the Raskin impressing like a ï¿1⁄2 forced program ï¿1⁄2 the limited time also affects a success of implementation of each phase and the overall of the program; there are having errors in determining target of the program (misstargeting). Thus, can concluded that the distribution of effectiveness of distribution of Raskin in Rancamaya, South Bogor, Bogor has not effective yet, so that the process of data collection is not right target, right amount, tight timer, right place and right administration. Therefore, to make this program can be felt by people who really need it, needed socialization and communication among institution: BPS, Bulog, District, Village, RT and RW Keywords : Effectivenes, Raskin
